Michayla Thielen – Model & Performer

​

Hi! My name is Michayla Thielen. Based in the Twin Cities, I'm a freelance model with over 9 years of experience in commercial, bridal, and editorial work. My modeling journey began during high school when I was selected as a senior model representative for a nationally published photographer. I loved collaborating on a more artistic version of the "typical" senior photos, and fell in love with the process of creating visual art. I knew this was something I wanted to pursue, and now balance it alongside my full-time career in finance.

What sets me apart is my background in dance, particularly ballet. My training allows me to bring fluidity and grace to my poses and walk. I’m able to channel different emotions not only through my facial expressions but also through my body movements, offering versatility and depth in both still images and on the runway.

In addition to modeling, I’m passionate about acting and am actively pursuing opportunities to expand my career in this field. My unique combination of modeling and dance experience gives me an edge in bringing characters to life, both in front of the camera and on stage.

Whether it’s for a fashion shoot, commercial, runway, or an acting role, I’m always excited to collaborate on new creative projects. I regularly travel within the Midwest, but am open to commuting wherever the job takes me.
